Riley’s Run for Eosinophilic Disorders – 5k Run/1 Mile Fun Run

Schedule of Events
6:45 am – 7:40 am – 5K day of race registration
7:45 am – 8:45 am – 1 Mile Fun Run day of race registration
7:45 am – Opening ceremony
8:00 am – 5k start
8:45 am – Awards ceremony
9:00 am – 1 Mile Fun Run start
Come early, and stay late for the music and Kids’ Fun Zone, including inflatable bounce houses, snow cones, cotton candy, a police helicopter and SWAT van, finger printing, face painting, a ribbon house, and a special appearance from Riley’s favorite princess, Belle. We will also have live music by Spaghetti Eddie from 10:00-11:00 am. Fun music for children…..and adults!
Entry Fees and Registration (Pre-Register On-line Through June 10th)
5k Race $25 if pre-registering, $30 day of race
1 Mile Fun Run $20 for adults if pre-registering, $25 day of race
. $15 for children if pre-registering, $20 day of race
On-line registration runs through midnight, Sunday, June 10, 2012.
Register in person at Red Coyote Running & Fitness, 5800 N. Classen Blvd, Suite 1, on Thursday, June 14th from 5:00-7:00 pm and on Friday, June 15th from 4:00-7:00 pm.
You may also register in person at the Oakdale School Main Entry on Thursday, June 14th, from 5:30-7:30pm or at Lynnae Insurance Agency, 5119 N. Western, Oklahoma City, Monday-Thursday, 10:00am-12:30pm.
Any participant who registered before midnight, Wednesday, June 6, 2012, will receive a race shirt. Participants registering after June 6, 2012, will be given a race shirt subject to availability. Limited sizes will be available if registering after June 6th.
Day of race registration will take place at Oakdale School. Please follow the signs. Cash or check will be the only method of payment accepted on race day. Gear check services will be provided for your convenience.
Sleep in for the Cause
Not everyone enjoys running, or maybe you just anticipate “sleeping in” on race day. Show your support for The American Partnership for Eosinophilic Disorders without losing any sleep.
Silent Auction – Ends at 10:45 am

Pledges
Want to help raise even more money for The American Partnership for Eosinophilic Disorders? Anyone participating in either the 5k or 1 Mile Fun Run may also collect pledges for a chance to win additional prizes. Prizes will be awarded to the top three participants with the highest oveall pledge amount. Prizes include:

Packet Pickup
Thursday, June 14th – Oakdale School Main Entry – 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Friday, June 15th – Red Coyote, 5800 N. Classen Blvd. Suite 1 – 4:00pm – 7:00pm.
All participants are encouraged to pick up their packets prior to race day. Packets for the 5k participants will include your timing chip.

Awards
The top three overall male winners will be given gift cards to Red Coyote. The top three overall female winners will be given gift cards to Artwear. Additionally, medals will be given to the top male and female finishers in the following categories – 12 and under, 13-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over.
Parking
Please park at Oakdale School (10901 N. Sooner Road, Edmond, OK 73013) or across the street at Oakdale Baptist Church. Hefner Road will be closed between I-35 and Air Depot starting at 7:30 am on race day. Participants are encouraged to use either Britton Road or N.E. 122nd Street if arriving at the course after 7:30 am. Please give yourself plenty of time to park and prepare for the race. Please watch for signs and volunteers to guide you to available parking.
Regulations
All runners must sign a liability waiver and publicity release. Participants will be provided, and are required to wear, a bib number during the race. Please be considerate of private grounds around the race area. Strollers will only be allowed on the 1 mile course and will be required to start behind all participants on foot for safety reasons. Dogs, bikes, and headphones are not permitted.
Water Stations
A water station will be available at the half way mark for the 5k participants. Please drink plenty of water.
Medical Services
Medical services will be available as needed.
